MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Relationship Glue’

Pull like a mule
Tag like a hashtag
Two in the kitchen
Cooking up a storm

What can be better
Than time together
Rain falls outside
Nowhere to fly

Having a ball playing
Around the oven top
Who will be tasting
The product in a pot

Some of that and pinch of this
Without gloves
Add some cloves
Gives it a twist

What are we making
If you wonder
Quality time
Not much to ponder

When you feel blue
Be wild for once
And make it stick

Cook without a recipe
‘Relationship glue’

Make it for two

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Without Barriers’

Higher ground
Has been found
Step up the game
Don’t be tame

Holly Grail
Have no tail
Stand up tall
Hold your ball

Forget fame
It’s all the same
Getting old
Worried cold

Cracking the shell
Of human hell
On Earth or Stars
To death with wars

Virus or germ
All just a term
Hug and kiss
Give it a miss

Theories relative
To my narrative
Story untold
Flu and cold

In the heat of night
Kick in the fight
Dream of freedom
Wake up in a womb

Air for sale

Be quick!

MIDDAY POETRY – “The Whiff Of Sanity”

Impecable with words
Diplomats on the screen
Doing the right thing
Seemingly a good idea

Charity of rolled out drugs
Given freely like lollies
No time to feed the mouse
The dragon has escaped

Off the charts statistics
Feeding fearful minds
Vulnerable when frightened
Gullible to accept all said

Crosses from a cemetery
Filling up town square
Who can see through the veil
When confronted with death

Dimmed lights in the mental fog
Get that air filter on the face
Plexiglass to avoid human contact
No touch or even scratch

Without question smother your hands
With those toxic chemicals in a tube
Washing is not necessary any more
Politely obey rules made to save you

Early onset of bonkers
Sanity not sanitation

MIDNIGHT POETRY – “After The Rain”

AFTER THE RAIN The sky is blue again
Another opportunity to take a walk by the creek
With lorikeets and wild turkey chicks

Native bees flying to their hive
Paper bark tree standing tall in the sun
Fallen leaves make their mark on the ground

Did we make a positive mark on life today?
What a glorious chance to be on Earth

Flowers of yellow colors full of sweet nectar
Fungi size of a pizza plate contrast in green grass

Smell of rain drops and the forest under our feet
Make the most of each day as life can be so sweet

Taste its nectar!
