MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘The Process’

wordpad
the best
friend

finger tips
kiss the keys
ever so gently

pause
awaiting
sense of calm

expectation
brings
fidgeting

questions
arising
inside

time to
write
continuously

letters pouring
seemingly
unrelated

on the screen
silently
suddenly

poem
birthed
alive

the dna
of chaos
unwound

words
leap forward
into space

transformation
happens
unexpectedly

mind
of a poet

unleashed

Poem ‘The Process’ read by the author.

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Driven’

initially
contempt

the news
penetrating
the internet

all the way
down

new
reality
seeped through
to the top

the perfect
storm
unraveled

180 turn
in taste
for charged

transport

Poem ‘Driven’ read by the author.

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Wild Waters’

frogs having a blast
puddles turned lakes
raging rivers

swallowed fields

overflowing
septic tanks
with surfers

in the waters

life has
blended
into

one

Poem ‘Wild Waters’ read by the author.

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Still’

crushing down waves
pouring skies
cut the ties
with the world around

time to reflect
to be with oneself
nowhere else
but inside

busyness stopped
all is calm
silence around
apart from the rain

what do we need
what do we really
crave to do and be
other than that

an opportunity
to go within
to slow down
to be in joy

still…
alive
