MIDNIGHT POETRY -“Message In A Bottle”

Turbulent landing
Spinning the head
Bit of Champagne
Before bed

Tipsy toes
Calming the nerve
Bottle of spirits
One more serve

Hairdo disheveled
Over the face
Resting the glass
On sofa chase

Not a soul in sight
In the night silence
Only the mind
Finding its balance

Cells of variety
Seeping out the brain
Leaving in vain
In search of sobriety

If only it was true
“In vino veritas”
Many would be awake
And nobody so blue

Sip sip hooray!

MIDDAY POETRY – “Chaos Theory In Practice”

Now just a happy heap
With time nobody recalls
The taste of amniotic fluid
On arrival from that trip

Born with a longer ruler
A rule for every size of man
No exception for a Lilliput
Pea sized brain in a cooler

Coming home to no-one lands
Matured like a Blue cheese
Homey smell of septic veins
Expertise in washing hands

Some would rather live on Mars
Dare we not to love the Earth
How quickly light can move
Escape from worries into stars

Blink of an eye and life is dead
With just a little bit of oops
Staring into the dark night skies
There is nothing else to be had

Where the land of no-one ends
Rip your clothes and rest assured
Wait patiently for the landing
Coming home to lost old friends

Something burns in hell’s oven
Perhaps Devil’s secret spice
Smell from afar and beyond
Making it’s way into the heaven

Forget all trivialities and worries
Have a piece of the forbidden pie
Guilt and shame hook at the door
Grab the cookies or the lollies

Nobody said the free ride was a breeze
Now if you like, come for seconds
Mask the deeper tissues issues
Cake or two will help to please

Mystery of life in two seconds
Mysterious mind for eternity

Freefall

MORNING POETRY – ‘Crazy For You’

My eyes widen when I see you
My brain goes into overdrive
My heart pounds with excitement

I don’t want to live without you
You are my one and only
I long to see you every morning

When we first met my life has changed
I never imagined we would live together
Every day and every night

Life now is such a joyous fairy tale
I spend all my waking ours by your site
I hold you tightly in my hands

Look at you how you’ve grown!
How many friends you have
How many people like you

You are almost without flaws
If I could changed one thing about you
It would be the way you handle me

Your rules are often changing
Privacy is important to me
In the way we communicate

But I will not leave you facebook
Happy Valentines!

MORNING POETRY – “Keep me awake”

Midnight well past its prime
Who would have thought
My pupils held by matches
Could not stay in bed

Mind chatter in an empty space
Brain asleep long time ago
Moon walk to the desk
Body in an illusion of a day

What keeps us awake at night
When the darkness prevails
Days of worries gone by
Future uncertainties

New Facebook notifications
Flashing red signs of high
Dopamine kicking in
Make up for the lost night

Morning sun to rise soon
Bum still in the office chair
Coming to senses
Gone back to bed

In search of the invisible
