rushing waters

MORNING POETRY – ‘Rushing Waters’

bridge connecting
rainforest valley
silently observing

steady flow
rushing waters
carving their mark
into the mountain

human constructed
relationship
that lasts

Poem ‘Rushing waters’ was created based on the above image prompt, part of the following writing challenge #WDYS

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘You Are Fat’

I am fat
Because I love food
More than myself

phyton

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Pest Control’

loud thud
in the garage
limitless
possibilities

swift walk
identified
fallen
Python

body
spanning
over two
meters

inconvenient
gift of nature
new guest
uninvited

nature has
her ways in
looking after
pest control

written on
the menu
resident
possums

MORNING POETRY – ‘The Slice’

Friday night
at the local
Mama’s

ordered pizza
garlic and basil
mozzarella cheese

crowd of youths
filled the shop
after the game

empty belly
loud voices
excitement

the counter
full of tickets
waiting

the kitchen
staff worked
non stop

prepping
baking
washing

all the pizzas
finally served
time to go

wee hours
a new game
has began
