NUDGED TO CREATE RETREATS

I guess this idea has been in the vortex of creation for a long time. To offer day retreats of a kind eventually. The concept was not anything new to me, as I have been pondering about such an idea many years ago. However, only just recently all things fell into place and it clicked.

Last year I co-authored (with a ‘Life Mastery’ Coach Katherine Steevens) and had published the “manual for a happy life”, aka book called “Design your future and create your dream life“. In the making of this book, we had a desire to make a whole program associated with our learnings. At the end of the year 2017, the book was ready for a wider distribution.

Now Katherine and I are in the process of offering our own signature day retreats to small groups of seekers. The process is underway, so if you are interested to learn more about either our upcoming events or our manual for a happy life, follow this site, respectively contact us through the form below.

During these retreats we will share what we learned on our way through life, the techniques that work and the teachings that inspired us to grow. They will be interactive, engaging and empowering. We also aim to initiate growth, which will lead to new opportunities.

If you are feeling inspired, like this post/follow this site/get our book (link above) and spread a word about us.

Focus and awareness.

THE BEST THING ABOUT LIFE IS…

How does this sentence continue when you are the writer? How many endings can you come up with?

What are the possibilities? Let’s ponder …

The best thing about life is…

The best thing about life is that it’s one opportunity not to be missed.

The best thing about life is that it is a limited edition and so forth valuable.

The best thing about life is each morning I get to wake up.

The best thing about life is living it.

The best thing about life is there are unlimited possibilities of how it will look like.

The best thing about life is having a loving family.

The best thing about life is giving.

The best thing about life is it’s unforgettable.

The best thing about life is the magical moments of creation.

The best thing about life is there are other people to talk to.

The best thing about life is it’s unpredictable.

The best thing about life is it is like an exciting book.
It has beginning, middle and end.

The best thing about life is the creation of nature.

The best thing about life is it’s free to start with.

The best thing about life is we only have to do it once in this form.

The best thing about life is we get to repeat our mistakes until we learn from them.

The best thing about life is people who spread love.

The best thing about life is it never ceases to exist.

The best thing about life is when one overcomes a challenge.

YOU ARE FULL OF MEMORIES AND WISDOM

What I know is that on some level you know that you are not just your body. If this sounds too far-fetched, there is some deep learning for you to do about who you truly are. What this translates to is that we live INSIDE our body.

Look at it this way. Who is running your heart? Who pumps the blood into the veins? Who is doing your breath? Who keeps you alive while you sleep?

All answers point to this. There is another level of your being than your physical body.

What I want to touch upon today is the structure of your physical body.

In my view, the reason we HAVE a body is to be able to experience the joys of this reality and to have a place to store the memories of our experiences.

Yes, the actual past memories of our experiences are stored inside the body. Metaphorically speaking, your past is burned into the cells of your body!

Let’s test it. Just remember the last time you felt joyous and elated. Or another time, when you felt quite disappointed. Do real memories come up to your mind’s eye?

As these memories rise above inside you, they are either released or dealt with at this time or they are pushed back inside. If the latter is the case, they are stored inside your body until you are ready to proceed with them and let the feelings from the past experiences go.

This is not just a pretty theory. It’s the very basis of our body structure.

When we were born our body was a rather pliable and soft. Then we started to experience the variety of situations in this life existence, it made us feel a certain way. The feelings that we had produced a certain chemicals in the brain and these chemicals travel inside the body to create a physical response, which leads to a certain external behavior.

Now, this has been repeatedly happening since then until this moment in time and onward. We have a physical body that reflects upon the internal feelings and emotions that we have during this lifelong journey.

No wonder there is a whole field of study, dedicated to Face and body readings, Psychosomatic Therapy and Body language.

Our body tells a story of our life

What is our body saying to the world?

The fact that our body speaks louder than our words is undeniable. Besides the obvious personality traits, that can be seen in a certain face shapes and postures. There are other subtle messages, which can be read by well-trained eyes.  These subtle messages show in each and every part of our physical tissues. They can be read even from our wisdom lines and the shapes and forms on our face and body.

What does that tell you?

If you admire a physical feature on another person, know that it speaks volumes about their past conditioning and environment influences. And if you do not like any feature about your own body, know that its reason for being that way is the storage of unresolved memories and perceived fears.

And if you still have a bit of trouble believing me, just think about this example.

What happens to your face, when you smile a lot, and are happy for many years? How does it influence the shape of your facial tissues and lines?

What happens when someone cries and is sad all the time? How is that shaping their face?

Body Structure under pressure

Reflect upon the well-known fact, that people who are clinically depressed for a long time have a certain hunched body posture. Their face also shows signs of sadness and sometimes hopelessness.

Learn to Love Your Body As Is

The most crucial part in our healthy body image is the absolute acceptance of the shape and structure of the body we are in now. If you are finding it hard to love all the parts of your body the way they are, just remember, that this body is the only vehicle we have in this lifetime.

It’s been here with us since the beginning and will be here until our last breath. Learn to love it the way it is. And with acceptance and care comes a new understanding, new self-worth, a new image.

The internal world is memory storage of the external world.

Step Forward Into a Healthy Future

When we learn to first understand and then fully accept and love our own body with all the signs of wear and tear, we slowly but surely learn to live in a peaceful internal environment.

Peace and let go of the past hurts. Shape a new body!

WE ARE WHO WE THINK WE ARE

If you haven’t heard that concept before, you might be a little surprised to learn it.

In fact, it’s not an accurate description of who we truly are in the core of our being. However, the person who gets presented externally to others is a reflection upon the internal representation of our self. That ‘image’ which we hold so close to our heart. Let’s cover this in more detail.

How would you describe yourself? Who are you? What defines you?

Ok, let me help you here. Say you think about yourself that you are a smart cookie. Let’s say you think you are very resourceful. Or you think you are too short or too tall for your age. Another perceived ‘fact’ of your persona could be that you are not beautiful enough. Or that you are always clumsy.

All of the above identifiers show in your external behavior. They also come across in your speech. And as energy follows thought this creates your reality.

What we believe about ourselves, who we believe we are, we recreate externally.

And if you want to test it, think about the traits of someone you either like or dislike. What are their qualities? What makes them likeable to you?

What you might have thought someone was, is just who they show you to be.

I will stretch this concept a little further. We only see in others, what we have inside of ourselves.

The true is that if you like a trait in a person, you have the same quality inside of you. What might have happened is that you are unaware of this being your trait.

So, I suggest you bring awareness to what personalities you are drawn to and what you are trying to avoid.

That will be a good indicator of your own internal qualities and dislikes.

The Good Part Being

In reality, we are much more than what we perceive to be. However, to get to a point, when we can actually really change into the person we would admire and would like to become, we need to realize who we are being now. With awareness comes realization and possibility for change.

Becoming the ideal self is a mastery journey. Most of us have some form of unwanted traits, which we mastered unconsciously, during an early form of social conditioning. That is, however, not an excuse for keeping it that way forever. We have the capacity to change. We can become the person we admire.

Becoming aware of our own internal representations, who we PERCEIVE ourselves to be, is a great step forward. Start today. Look inside and realize who you had been thinking you were!

Stretch your imagination to the heights of possibility and design the person you would love being.

The one you are waiting for is you.
