MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Beating Heart’

an unusual sight
mind taking a flight
into the space
behind the face

stillness of an ocean
awareness in motion
between each breath
chance of death

view outside the eyes
impressions that arise
aiming to give meaning
generalizing screening

birthing of new ideas
might be no panacea
for having loving heart
beats being smart

MIDNIGHT POETRY- ‘Unearthed’

tangled words
out the throat
only wheezing
escapes

jammed in the
narrow passage
all letters of the
alphabet

blunt or sharp
like a spear
a pen with
no ink

leap into
the unknown
fear aside
inhale

a tale about
raw diamonds
yearning to be
discovered
…shine

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Momentary’

days seem too short
time encapsulated
magic of the forest
where each tree needle
fell to the ground
without a sound

sitting around a bonfire
listening to the crackling
of the wood sap
eyes absorbing flames
cheeks and palms
shades of hot pink

reflecting on the past days
hours and years blend
into one infinitive mass
past present and future
only fictitious concepts
piercing through space

moments ago God’s child
now just a grey nomad
well behaved adult
following written rules
the wisdom hidden
behind thick curtains

innocence dissipated
like a smoke of the fire
only distant smile remains
so fragile and deep
you would almost miss it
in a blink of an eye

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Late morning’

the cabriolet was waiting
it was a late morning
after the wedding
time to sober up

the plan was to head north
to the checkpoints
then through them
into the land of opportunities

in the warm shower
she made the decision
it was time to put her life
into her own hands

her dreams awaited
on the other side
of the border
she jumped into the car

and only then

a sudden jolt
she woke up
sweating
still single
