MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Enigmatic’

oblivious to the facts
knowing is not doing
hidden in the pudding
candid truth

the head seeking
the spacious belly
perfect place to hide
all worried thoughts

nom nom nom
sugary and fatty food
love handles tell
never ending story

craving more
unsatisfied not enough
the body shape growing
new size old mind

the mirror yields
the hangdog look
blank stare
into the portal

deep under
fluffy layers
the truth shackled
ready to rupture

enigmatic

MIDNIGHT POETRY -‘Extra Tight’

light fabric
airy flow
supporting
just a little
too low

encouraging
staring looks
peeking into
all the hidden
nooks

low set pants
revealing
the crack
at the front
potato sack

confidence
oozing from
every cavity
definition of
gravity

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Fitting In’

fitting into shrinking pants
fitting into society
no longer fit for purpose

pear shaped statue
the fallen hero
off the pedestal

misery laying
across the footpath
irritating passers by

the missing piece
of the life’s puzzle
to be discovered

desperation
labeled
home made
