MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Waking’

liberated statue with
chain around the legs
share an act of kindness
give us free range eggs

who knows where it leads
when kids build rockets
role play robin hood then
line their own pockets

status wealth and power
display of egos round a table
come to senses if you dare
and are still somewhat able

the machinery of conflict
is greatest source of drama
to keep us on the edge of seats
and still wearing pajama

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Bare Connection’

what do we love more
the product or its inventor
what do we love more
the children or their creator

does love pick sides
is it equal to all

come out of the trauma
leading to regrets
hurt and bare
in search for meaning

we stop the choosing
the day we realize
all is one… connected

loved

MIDDAY POETRY -‘Allness’

i used to be very opinionated
now i try to listen without reacting
i used to have an aggressive voice
now I try and speak without poison

my mind has changed direction
instead of ruffled feathers
i try to find a common ground
where there used to be conflict

the change has been ongoing
the reason for it meditation
calmness found in silence
the oneness found in allness

under construction
work in progress…

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Hungrily Obsessed’

you can slumber in your bed
while i bake my sour bread
made pure without added yeast
tastes delish to say the least

full involvement of the senses
not burdening on expenses
plain seeded or little sweet
with rye flour it’s a treat

how to master opened ear
kept me up for a whole year
at the end i gave up trying
wiped my eyes stopped crying

today i bake the perfect bread
with no ear and heart instead
tasty fluffy dense just right
keeps me up whole night

day and night i dream of dough
when one ends next one will grow
hungry starter akin to a child
fed on sugars goes tad wild
