I wish I could express
Gratitude that I feel
To my parents
For being here

Their love and care
Is beyond words
Now as always
Molds my world

As a child I was wild
Living in a bubble
No fear to jump
Into any trouble

Growing up was hard
For my folks the extra mile
They put in for me
With a beaming smile

Since I grew
Into mature years
My folks still care
For all my fears

Having no siblings
Could be a bit lonely
Having great parents
Is what I know only

I have no skill
To speak as I scribe
Mostly an introvert
My family is my tribe

Big virtual hugs
To my loving folks
For their life attitude
And mental support

Love you beyond words
