MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Hormonal’

hormonal imbalance
topic of late
end of the period
excess of weight

lack of good sleep
sensitive to touch
more facial hair
is just too much

what are the options
there must be a way
change of gender
saves the day

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Fifty’

turning fifty
quick it goes
gifts you get
wished to foes

morning blues
late night news
growing out of
fancy shoes

hot flashes
on a winter day
summer heat
you wish away

wearing shorts
now causing issues
flabby cheeks
excess tissues

food you eat
turns into fat
your stomach grows
your mood is flat

anti-wrinkle cream
no longer effective
the human blueprint
proven defective

MIDNIGHT POETRY -‘Extra Tight’

light fabric
airy flow
supporting
just a little
too low

encouraging
staring looks
peeking into
all the hidden
nooks

low set pants
revealing
the crack
at the front
potato sack

confidence
oozing from
every cavity
definition of
gravity

MIDNIGHT POETRY -‘Craving’

impulse
desire
craving

something
savoury
or sweet

first
salted
nuts

still
unsatisfied

followed by
heaps of
other goodies

too many
to list

blaming
the weather
body chills

pants
too small
to wear

need to
go shopping

belly
overflowing
the waistline

taste buds
what a
curse!
