MORNING POETRY – ‘Rushing Waters’

bridge connecting
rainforest valley
silently observing

steady flow
rushing waters
carving their mark
into the mountain

human constructed
relationship
that lasts

Poem ‘Rushing waters’ was created based on the above image prompt, part of the following writing challenge #WDYS

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Pest Control’

loud thud
in the garage
limitless
possibilities

swift walk
identified
fallen
Python

body
spanning
over two
meters

inconvenient
gift of nature
new guest
uninvited

nature has
her ways in
looking after
pest control

written on
the menu
resident
possums

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Beating Heart’

an unusual sight
mind taking a flight
into the space
behind the face

stillness of an ocean
awareness in motion
between each breath
chance of death

view outside the eyes
impressions that arise
aiming to give meaning
generalizing screening

birthing of new ideas
might be no panacea
for having loving heart
beats being smart
