MORNING POETRY – ‘With a pinch of salt’

WITH A PINCH OF SALT

With a pinch of salt
To put into our cooking
Food becomes more tasty

With a hint from life
To slow down and ease off
Life becomes fresh again

Never in our recent history
Were we under so much stress
Too busy to forget ourselves

While the time is ticking
Blessed we are to slow down
Opportunity unforeseen

Many have a home based job now
Dreamed of working from home
Without realizing the achievement

We truly get what we asked for
Ways we haven’t imagined
Possible in our lifetime

Now the time is to be merry
To smile and be joyous
As life provides all we need

Trust life

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Corona’s Magic Wand’

CORONA’S MAGIC WAND

Did you shake Corona’s hand?
Hard to know how you feel
Make sure you use a soap
Mortality is rather real

Whatever you believe
Sanity is the key
More of this madness
Fear has no brains left

Media jumps on the case
You have no chance
Being safe or sorry
Core of the story

Large groups of people
Need to be postponed
Due to fear and panic
What’s happening is manic

Toilet rolls are out of stock
Having the shits
With the world
People are now in shock

Bit of water lotus leafs
Growing wild
Becoming hippies
Living very cheap

Tins are off the shelve
Rice and pasta precious
Time to see through the news
What is real and what is just a shell

As time becomes dear
The love of family
Brings us all together
Keep your nerves of steel

Time to switch off the news
Connect with your partner
Have a meal with your friend
Rejoice about bright new views

See the beauty of this magic place
Living in fear breaks down immunity
Write in a gratitude journal
And put a smile on your face

Live a little…

MORNING POETRY – “FREE TO LIVE & BOUND TO END”

Time flows in increments
Life gift was free to start with
Collected skills through work
Contribute to wellbeing of all

Dreams still arise during each day
Consciousness at it’s best
Pouring out new ideas
Wants and desires

The fun began
We open our eyes
Each day anew
Ready to be embraced

On a quest for adventure
New zest for more
Eventually it will stop
With the last breath

Variety of shapes and types
Rewards of all kinds
Put on the table
Bread and salt

Until we leave our form
Still chance to enjoy
The dish on the plate
Born out of the sweat

There is no time
When the chimes strike
To negotiate departure
Only saying Goodbye!

Crude energy
Bubbling inside
To transform
To create

The altar full of fruits
Oozing fresh juices
Opportunity numerous
To feel blessed

Our vanity has a smashed mirror
The futility of looking back
Jump in the ocean
Splash and feel the coolness

Nothing lasts eternally
But for infinity
Come on NOW
Rejoice! You woke up

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Pirates of the Internal Seas’

Pirates of the Internal Seas

One eyed Captain steers the ship
On the open ocean
Lot of water passed him by
Since he started sailing

Crooked teeth in a wrinkled face
Smell of whiskey and tobacco
Emanates from his robe
His trimmed parrot flew to freedom

His one eye looks at the sea
Humpbacks make tall waves
Rocking the ship right and left
Making the lunch hard to swallow

The crew resting after the meal
Having finished all their jobs
Cards are on the wooden table
Game of life and death

The captain glimpses a submarine
Aiming in their direction
He beams with excitement
Something to conquer and hunt

Submerged in the ocean
The submarine feels no pressure
She can go down any moment
Into the depths of the waters

Who has the smarts to lead
Who is the Captain of their ship
And can he outrun the submarine?
