MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Uninvited’

getting physical
quick glance in the mirror
shivers down the spine

my chin has earned his double
my hair unruly and wild
years gone by without warning

youthful looks flew out the wind
the days of Twiggy over
new era of Michelin uninvited

yet my hopes are high
the fog on the mirror
hid undesired details

today more than ever
I look straight into my eyes
bowed into a shy smile

my heart comes up racing
inside the head a small voice
at first unsure and wavering

in the words of Louise Hay
it whispers words of self love
appreciation and forgiveness

worthiness replaces uncertainty
contentment makeups all imperfections
blended with warmth and joy

beauty is a state of mind

MORNING POETRY – ‘Her Secret’

Stop and observe
Greatest belle
In a woman

Appearance aside
Her heart beating
For the greatest love

Her attraction
Is her kindness
Soft and gentle

Voice of an angel
Her body a cathedral
Sharing its radiance

Warmth and strength
In her constitution
Empathy with all life

Master of her feelings
Merciful and forgiving
Shining from within

There is no greater
Beauty then inside
The one who loves

Herself first

MIDDAY POETRY – “Being You”

After a rather long pause here is a fresh piece of my mind and heart…enjoy and feel free to like, share and comment. Thank you.

The day has come to tell you
There is no-one just like you
You are here only for a while
So drop that frown and smile

The best of who you are
The essence of your being
Extends out into the air
Trust and love and care

The day you came into the world
The sun have been rather high
Telling clouds with heavens view
To expect the perfect you

Watch out for the sign
One that only you can see
Every day in the mirrored sand
Giving you a helping hand

The image showing wear and tear
With every year gone past
The heart is what you cannot fool
Shining bright and keeping cool

Blood full of life
Throbbing through the veins
You are the one to hear
The message bar of fear

Come to center of the truth
No-one else can live your life
What you need is not new you
Yet one kiss and hug will do

Take off the mask and face it!
