MORNING POETRY – ‘Keeping Fit’

my daily exercise routine
riding the wave of life
jumping to conclusions
running out of ideas
threading on water
walking on thin air
running out of time
picking myself up
rowing my boat
these simple exercises
ensure I am as fit
as now

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Sweet’

tip of the tongue
sweet taste sensor
soft and naughty
giving pleasure
with a flaw
new and enlarged
body

on the menu
delicatessen
on the mind
sense of guilt

reflecting
always
too late
the moment
of delight
followed by
remorse

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Enigmatic’

oblivious to the facts
knowing is not doing
hidden in the pudding
candid truth

the head seeking
the spacious belly
perfect place to hide
all worried thoughts

nom nom nom
sugary and fatty food
love handles tell
never ending story

craving more
unsatisfied not enough
the body shape growing
new size old mind

the mirror yields
the hangdog look
blank stare
into the portal

deep under
fluffy layers
the truth shackled
ready to rupture

enigmatic

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Hormonal’

hormonal imbalance
topic of late
end of the period
excess of weight

lack of good sleep
sensitive to touch
more facial hair
is just too much

what are the options
there must be a way
change of gender
saves the day
