MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Divine Intervention’

valuable lesson
in herstory
connection
with the divine

being open
to release
transformed
the entirety

the life
she knew
and lived
dissipated

what emerged
from the rubble
overwhelmed
her psyche

hospitalization
ensued
silent
meditation

years passed
life returned
to new normal
never the same

awareness
broadened
her experience
unprepared for

the spiraling
into lower realms
of darkness
following highs

the light flickering
unsure unsecure
unresolved
past emotions

giving her
grief in
the present
moment

undergoing
treatment
her sanity
restored

reoccurrence
of such magnitude
the changes
persisted

the synapses
between
neurons
exploded

billion
fragments
scattered
in the brain

the soup
of consciousness
merged
and realigned

forming fractals
her new self
expanded
forever

in eternity

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘The Process’

wordpad
the best
friend

finger tips
kiss the keys
ever so gently

pause
awaiting
sense of calm

expectation
brings
fidgeting

questions
arising
inside

time to
write
continuously

letters pouring
seemingly
unrelated

on the screen
silently
suddenly

poem
birthed
alive

the dna
of chaos
unwound

words
leap forward
into space

transformation
happens
unexpectedly

mind
of a poet

unleashed

MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Still’

crushing down waves
pouring skies
cut the ties
with the world around

time to reflect
to be with oneself
nowhere else
but inside

busyness stopped
all is calm
silence around
apart from the rain

what do we need
what do we really
crave to do and be
other than that

an opportunity
to go within
to slow down
to be in joy

still…
alive

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Bare Connection’

what do we love more
the product or its inventor
what do we love more
the children or their creator

does love pick sides
is it equal to all

come out of the trauma
leading to regrets
hurt and bare
in search for meaning

we stop the choosing
the day we realize
all is one… connected

loved
