MIDDAY POETRY – “Money Talk”

Money Talk

Turning ideas into action
Completes my satisfaction
When all is done and said
What counts is the money I get

Whether it be coins or notes
I accept and give my thanks
For what I put in is my time
Which never returns for a dime

What makes us fell so funny
When we need to ask for money
The greatest form of gratitude
Monetary value of magnitude

When it comes down to work
Who has the skills to fork
On a charitable mission
Your donations with permission

Money turns the world around
It gives us dirty feeling
As we rarely value our self
That is were lies true healing

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Search & Rescue’

SEARCH & RESCUE

With gusto
Chasing a ghost
Don Quixote
My life story

Without high heels
Stepping up
Through the jungle
On the front line

Crocodile tears
Have no use
Been here before
Dried up banks

Resilience pays tax
Body cries for rest
Stubborn head
Chews another hour

Building trust
Into the night
Secret space
Walking shadows

Unveiling new show
Ice sculptures
In the heart
Burn with desire

Change of a tire

MIDNIGHT POETRY – “WHO WONDERS”

Who wonders

What does it take
For unbreakable to break
The immaculate is a mess
When mind becomes a stress

The creative flow stops
At the onset of a break
Knowing it all too well
Perfection is a fake

Energy like a current
Flowing freely boundless
Catch it if you dare
Laser sharp focus

Encapsulated in eggshells
Cuckoo in the clock
Loose screws and buttons
Fixer upper project

Resonant colors
Vivid imagery
Smell of burning flesh
Barbie in a queue

Molecular closeness
Fierce rush of blood
Electric impulses
Into the head

Release of hormone
Pleasure or pain
Once I wondered

About a healthy brain

MIDNIGHT POETRY – ‘Melatonin High’

Melatonin High

Partially complete
Peacefully tired
Prepared to sleep

Convinced of life
Coming together
Cunningly perfect

Astonished by nature
Aware of dark circles
Awaiting next steps

Sleep doesn’t come
Staying put in bed
Sweet dreams far away

Only silence prevails
Oneness with it all
Obliterate any thought

Nature moves
Night has fallen
Never mind my rest

Indigo colored sky
Inhale shallow breath
Into the night

Falling
Flying
Free!

Melatonin high
