MIDDAY POETRY – ‘Wild Waters’

frogs having a blast
puddles turned lakes
raging rivers

swallowed fields

overflowing
septic tanks
with surfers

in the waters

life has
blended

Hana, I really enjoyed reading this piece. The way it moves from small, almost playful moments into something much larger and more unsettling is really effective. I appreciate the way it captures both the inevitability and the transformation that comes with rising water.
I regularly review poetry, both past and present, and I’ve shared your poem, which you can find at this link. I am looking forward to reading more of your work. Best, Adam

Adam, I was pleased to find your kind comment. It brought a smile to my face. Reading your first review of my other poem ”Waking” was very enjoyable. The precision of your words! Seeing the deeper meaning of the writing, captured so well…I’m very appreciative. Thank you. Have a lovely day, Hana
